Petz is a computer game by The Learning Company. So, what's it all about? Well, basically, you adopt cats (catz) and dogs (dogz) that live in the computer! They need food, play and care. If you don't take of your petz, they feel neglected, abused and might even run away!
There are 10 breedz of
catz, and 10 dogz breedz as well!
When you first adopt your petz from
the Adoption Centre in the program, it will be a puppy/kitten. Gradually it'll
grow into a fully adult! Adult petz that aren't neutered or spayed can have
their own pupz and kittenz as well, and by crossing different breedz you can get
many cool petz! (But dogz can only breed with dogz and catz only with catz)
I really recommend
getting Petz! It's fun and quite a big community!
The first petz game
was Dogz, which came in 1995. Then came Catz, and later Dogz II and Catz II,
which became Petz II if you had both versions. And then the came Petz 3. Now
Petz 4 is here! There is also Babyz, where you take care of babies, and
Oddballz. These two games aren't compatible like Catz and Dogz II, 3 and 4 are
though!
